Fallon Health names Kevin Grozio as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Worcester, Mass., Dec. 4, 2017 — Fallon Health, a nationally recognized, not-for-profit health care services organization, is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Kevin Grozio as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Grozio has more than 20 years’ experience in actuarial services within the health insurance industry. As Fallon’s CFO, Grozio has responsibility for accounting, financial planning and analysis, strategic cost analysis, actuarial and underwriting, medical economics, and risk adjustment and analytics. 

Prior to his current role, Grozio served as Vice President, Underwriting and Actuarial Services, responsible for all underwriting and actuarial services within Fallon. In addition, he was an active member of the finance leadership team, working closely with Fallon senior management on key strategic initiatives. 

Prior to joining Fallon, Grozio served as Vice President, Actuarial Services at ConnectiCare, Inc. & Affiliates. In his role at ConnectiCare, he led the rate review process and rating factor studies as well as worked closely with providers and external vendors to provide actuarial expertise during negotiations. Prior to joining ConnectiCare, Kevin was an actuarial analyst at United HealthCare.

Grozio is an Associate in the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and possesses the Qualifications Standards of the American Academy of Actuaries to Render Statements of Actuarial Opinion. Grozio graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in business administration in actuarial science from the University of Hartford.
