Fallon rebrands to reflect evolving business in new health care world

“Fallon Health” also launches new ad campaign

Worcester, Mass., Feb. 1, 2014 - Fallon Community Health Plan announced today that it is rebranding to Fallon Health to reflect its evolving business in the rapidly changing health care industry. Fallon Health will also launch a new advertising campaign under the new brand beginning February 2, 2014.

“The old lines in health care are blurring as society seeks better, more affordable care through new approaches such as population health management and risk-sharing. Successful health care organizations will be those which get and keep people healthy by providing quality-based, seamless care at a reasonable price,” said Fallon Health President and CEO Patrick Hughes. “Our new brand catches up to our unique role as both a health plan and a provider, and reflects our history and culture of innovation that allow us to take care of our communities at the lowest possible cost.”

The new brand reflects Fallon Health’s broader offerings of products, services and programs for a diverse population of all ages, income levels and health statuses. It encompasses the company’s commercial insurance products, senior care services and facilities, programs for dual-eligibles, home-support services, and business services such as medical, risk and financial management.

The new advertising campaign, created by the award-winning DeVito/Verdi agency in New York, will consist of TV, print, radio, digital and outdoor media. The content focuses on Fallon Health’s insurance and senior care solutions.

“This campaign captures our expertise in bridging the gap between the medical care people require and the personal care they desire by weaving together customized products, services and programs,” said Fallon Health Chief Communications Officer Christine Cassidy. “Like the new brand, it reflects who we have become as an organization.”
