Richard P. Burke, Division President, Senior Care Services
Since joining Fallon Community Health Plan in 1998, Richard Burke has held several senior management roles overseeing government and regulatory affairs, corporate compliance and several operational departments.
In his current role, Burke is responsible for leading FCHP’s diversification into the Senior Care market. He oversees the FCHP-sponsored Summit ElderCare, a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly that has expanded to several sites and more than 400 participants in Central Mass. He also directs FCHP’s Medicare and Medicaid product management and government and community relations. He led the company’s recent acquisition of Home Staff LLC, an FCHP joint venture with the VNA CareNetwork.
Before joining FCHP, Burke served as Vice President of Public Affairs at Assumption College in Worcester. He also previously held the position of Director of Research for Massachusetts State Senator Arthur Chase.
Burke serves on the board of directors of the Massachusetts Association of Health Plans and the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce. He is President of the Worcester Economic Club, President of the Board of Directors of the Central Massachusetts Agency on Aging, and a member of the board of directors of Choose Worcester, Inc.
A summa cum laude graduate of Assumption College, Burke holds a master’s degree in political science from Boston College and a master’s in business administration from the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University.
