Fallon Community Health Plan appoints Karen J. Longo to Vice President
Longo continues to serve as Executive Director for Summit ElderCare
Worcester, Mass., August 25, 2008―Fallon Community Health Plan (FCHP), a nationally recognized health care services organization, announced the appointment of Karen J. Longo to Vice President. As Vice President, she will continue to serve as Executive Director for Summit ElderCare®, a Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).
Longo joined Fallon Community Health Plan in 1985 and has held senior positions in sales, marketing and operations. Over the past three years, she has led the expansion of Summit ElderCare from a single site in Worcester to a multi-site program, with locations in Charlton, Leominster and a second site in Worcester scheduled to open later this year.
A graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, Longo also received a master’s degree in health care administration from Clark University.
She resides in Sutton with her husband and daughter.
