Fallon Community Health Plan appoints Janis V. Liepins to Vice President of Market Research and Product Development

Worcester, Mass., June 23, 2008― Fallon Community Health Plan (FCHP), a nationally recognized health care services organization, is pleased to announce the appointment of Janis V. Liepins to Vice President of Market Research and Product Development. In this position, he is responsible for researching customer, industry and marketplace trends to develop and maintain a competitive product portfolio, as well as ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.

Most recently, Liepins served as Assistant Vice President of Market Research and Product Development at FCHP. Before coming to FCHP, he held several positions in sales and marketing, actuarial services and provider contracting at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.

Liepins is a graduate of the University of Waterloo, where he earned a bachelor’s degree for environmental studies in urban and regional planning, and holds a master’s degree in city planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is also a board member for The Meyers Primary Care Institute.
