Charley Goheen joined Fallon Community Health Plan as Chief Financial Officer in 2002, bringing with him many years of health care-related experience. He has oversight of all FCHP’s financial planning and execution, and has led the plan to achieve several years of profitable growth.

Prior to his position with FCHP, Goheen held leadership positions in both the health care provider and health care insurance sectors. He was the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Administration for Provider Service Network in Boston. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Operations for Physicians Quality Care in Waltham. He also served in various positions for more than 10 years at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care in Brookline.

Goheen earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard College and a master’s degree in business administration from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

In December 2006, Goheen was appointed by then Governor-Elect Deval Patrick to serve on the administration’s Health Care Transition Team. As a member of the team, he played a leadership role in helping to develop strategies for improving health care for residents of the Commonwealth.

He currently is Treasurer of the Worcester Boys and Girls Club and is a member of the Central Mass. STEM Council, which promotes science, technology, engineering and math in the state’s schools.
