Find and compare hospitals
Going to a hospital for medical treatment can be stressful and frightening. FCHP wants to help you gather all the information available so that you can make the best, most educated decisions about your hospital care with a minimum of stress.
What information should I pay attention to when comparing hospitals?
When researching hospitals, you should focus on the aspects of your hospital care that are most important to you. Here are a few examples:
- How many times has this hospital performed this particular procedure?
- What are the mortality and complication rates for this procedure?
- How many days will I spend in the hospital?
- What is the cost for this procedure?
- Is the hospital conveniently located?
